Good afternoon Members

 

A magic week here at Peninsula with the elements behaving themselves and members and visitors enjoying the sunny days on the course.

 

Wine and Cheese - Saturday 12th March between 4:00pm and 6:00pm - come along meet our newest staff members and their families, enjoy the company, wine and cheese.  Bring your family members along to see where we all spend our time playing golf.  For the younger ones we will ensure they have fun creating their own cookies,  drinking the home made lemonade, playing at the Legoland table and taking part in the Scavenger hunt. Please RSVP to admin.peninsula@golf.co.nz by mid day tomorrow with numbers attending Saturday's event , so we can cater for everyone.

 

Membership draw - Last Saturday Freddy Greenwood was not in the club lounge so this Saturday at 6:00pm the amount will be $450.00 - if you come along to the wine and cheese you may wish to be there at 6:00pm - your name could be the one drawn this week.

 

Twilight - only 4 more twilight nights for this season.  If you have played in 6 or more events you will be in the draw to collect some great prizes all sponsored my MetLifeCare. Book on line or through the pro shop.

 

60th Anniversary celebrations. Put a note in your diary for the afternoon of Sunday 17th April to come along and help us celebrate 60 years of golf at Peninsula Golf Club.  We will have posters around the club with more information next week. If any of you know of ex members who might be interested in coming along as well, please let them know of the date or send their email details to admin.peninsula@golf.co.nz

 

Pennants - our teams are playing in most divisions this year and we have already had some great results - keep up the good work and remember we are proud to have you representing Peninsula Golf Club with pride.

 

Housekeeping - anyone who has changed their home address, email or phone number please advise the office so we can update our records - you may have already updated dot golf yourselves, but we also need to update our membership database in our accounting package - this is where we collect information used for the annual Golf Calendar of Events book and for mailouts we send periodically.
